Where the Golden Eagle Soars, with correspondence
This book is accompanied by a letter from the illustrator Colin Gibson and a photocopy of an illustration from pqge 179 of the book. The illustration accompanies the letter and is signed by Gibson.
There are also photo copies of correspondance between Johns from his London residence and Gibson.
The front board has rubs to the top edge and outside corners.The spine is very slightly cocked but the gilt lettering is bright and bold. Internally the book is clean and bright.
Dust wrapper/ The top and bottom of the front flap have chips.The top edge of the front cover is curled. The top of the spineis curled with slight loss. the bottom of the spinehas chips to both corners. The rear panel has loss to the top edge spine side. There rubs to the top and bottom of the rear flap hinge. The rear flap has a tiny tear to the bottom. the front flap is curled to the top edge, with creases to the middle. Not price cut.
