First edition first printing. The  front board, spine and rear boards are all straight, clean and bright. The end papers and inside boards have browned and this is on some margins internally. There is pen mark to the top of the front inside board and end paper. the internal pages are otherwise clean and bright.Dust wrapper/ The front cover has a chip to the top right hand corner 3cm x 3cm. The top edge is creased. The bottom edge corners have tiny chips. The spin e has some loss to the top and bottom edges. The top edge loss 2cm across the top. This is attached to a chip and a 4cm closed tear on the back cover. The loss to the bottom edge is 1/2 cm across, this too is attached to a chip on the back cover corner. The back cover bottom edge has a closed tear 5cm. There are tiny chips too. The top edge has rubs with tiny closed tears attached. There is a crease to the left hand corner. The front and rear flap top edges are curled. Price cut. The rear of the jacket has foxing to the spine and brown marks throughout, not showing through.
