Very bright clean boards,tiny corner/edge rubs.No inscription.There is some foxing to the text block and there are occasional fox marks to the margins on the internal pages,mainly the early ones Otherwise the book would be near FINE.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover top edge has a 2  cm closed tear. The top right hand corner has a 1 cm closed tear with small creases.  The bottom front flap hinge has a 10 cm split with a crease across the bottom of the front. the top and bottom of the spine have small chips/rubs and the top edge has a 2cm closed tear to the back cover hinge. The back cover has loss 2.5cm x 2.5cm to the top edge with several related creases and a chip.The top left hand corner has a chip and all other corners not otherwise described  have rubs/nicks The bottom edge has a 1cm closed tear. There are some grubby marks to the bottom edge.  Not price cut. The rear of the jacket spine has some foxing, not showing through.
