The Raid W E Johns

The Orange boards are clean and straight. There are very minor rubs to the corners and edges.The spine is faded to a lighter orange, with more fading where the dust wrapper has loss. The front inside board has a small book sellers sticker to the bottom. No inscription. The internal pages are clean and bright. the text block is foxed, this has not spread to the internal pages. The hinge has pulled on the last page and rhe rear inside board. Catalogue to rear.
Dust Wrapper/ The front cover has a crease to the bottom edge with 1.5 cm loss on the front flap hinge and loss to the bottom of the spine 1cm deep. The top of the front cover has a crease to the top right hand corner with a 4cm closed tear, this has been taped to the rear with tape. The front flap hinge is rubbed. the top of the spine has loss 4cm deep with closed tears attached to the back and front cover.There is also an additional 7cm closed tear to the back edge of the spine, crossing horizontally on the spine The tear to the front cover measures 1.5 cm.The rear cover spine and rear flap hinges are worn, but with no tears.The top and bottom of the rear flap hinge have small chips. The rear of the jacket is clean./1972
