The Modern Boys Book of Aircraft (Various)

The front board has some grubby marks to the bottom edge with some rubs. The top and bottom right hand corners are rubbed.  The ilustrations on the frontis and plates  are by W E Johns and is bright and bold. The lettering is bold and clear. The spine has rubs to the top and bottom edges. The lettering is clear. the rear board has some small black marks and some minor white stains. the bottom edge is rubbesd as are the left hand top and bottom corners. The spine hinge is rubbed. Some of internal pages are very foxed, including the front end paper. The hinge on the front end paper and inside board has pulled. No inscription.
Dust wrapper/The front cover has loss to the bottom 6cm x 3.5cm. There is a 4cm closed tear to the top and rubs to the edges. The bottom edge has creases. The top edge has edge creases. The top right hand corner has 2.5cm loss with a 3.5cm closed tear. The top of the spine has 4.5cm loss across the width, this has lost the title. There is also 2.5cm loss to the bottom running across the width, this has loss to the 7/6 price. The back cover top edge has two closed tears one is  1.5cm and one is 1/2 cm. The bottom edge has a 2cm close tear. The bottom left hand corner has a 2cm x 1cm chip. The top left hand corner has a 2cm x 1cm chip. The top edges of the front and rear flap are curled. The front flap top edge has a 1/2cm closed tear.
