The Modern Boy's Book of Aircraft W E Johns

The front boards have rubs to the top and bottom edges as  do the corners. The lettering is bold and clear. The Johns illustration is bold and clear. The top and bottom of the spine are rubbed as is the front board hinge. The rear board has some small black pen marks. There is a rub to the top left hand corner. The outside edges are rubbed and bumped. The text block is foxed and this has spread to some margins.The colour frontis is bold and the colours are bright, as are all the colour plates and black and white illustrations. The hinge has pulled at the top and bottom of the front end paper and inside board but the binding is otherwise reasonably tight./1968
