The Cruise of the Condor

Circa 1934 reprint. Royal blue boards with red lettering, no catalogue to rear. Dustwrapper is price cut by publisher 4 shillings over stuck to spine.
The front cover is straight  and the lettering bold and clear. The top left hand corner is slightly bumped.The spine is straight and the overstuck price has shown through. This shows that the book and dust wrapper originally together(not a marriage). The back cover is straight and un bumped. The front inside board has a list of other titles in the Ace series and some writing in blue biro that has been scribbled out. The front end paper has more biro and scribbles and two black ruler marks. The frontis has marks showing through from the biro marks behind but is otherwise bright and bold. The internal pages are bright and clean and the text block un foxed. The binding is tight. The rear end paper and inside board are clean and unmarked.
Dust wrapper/The entire jacket is clean and bright. The front cover has a chip 2cm x 4cm to the bottom edge. There are chips to all four corners and the bottom left hand corner has a closed tear 3cm attached. The spine hinge is worn with some minor loss. The spine is rubbed at the top with tiny closed tears and the bottom of the spine has rubs with some loss. The back cover has rubs to the bottom edge with small chips  and a 1cm closed tear. All four corners have small chips. The front and rear flaps are good. The front flap top edge is slightly creased. The rear of the jacket is clean with no foxing./1440
