First edition 1930 issue number 2 with 1929 being the first ever issue. Near Vg, VERY SCARCE.
Two early line drawings  by W.E.Johns both signed, page 84/87,see photos.
Minor edge rubs to front long edge and small rubs through to all corners.. The spine front cover hinge and spine are rubbed with mottled fades, see photos. Small fray to back corner hinge and  surface rubs to  rear board. There is  small piece of cardboard stuck to the bottom back edge. Neat faint  inscription to inside cover.  The binding  is a little pulled but still ok. Pages clean, numerous illustrations, some colour. 1866
