 This bind up contains issues  June 5th 1942 to December 3rd 1943. Within these issues are  chapters 9-26 of the “Magic Faraway Tree”. The last chapter was in the January 29th 1943 edition. This pre dates the release of the book later in 1943, making them true Firsts. There are also chapters from “Naughty Amelia Jane” and “Josie, Click and Bun” also “Dame Slap” amongst others
 The front boards and spine are straight. There are white marks to the spine and rear board. Internally the pages are very good, bright and clean with no tears. The second to last page of the June 18th 1943 issue has a piece cut from the bottom replaced by some paper. There is also an inscription to the front end paper./1895
