The front board has a crease along the bottom edge, which shows through to the inside board. The text block, long side has minor foxing. This has not spread to the internal pages, which are all bright and clean. The front end paper has a small inscription. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright and bold.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover four corners have tiny chips. The top and bottom of the spine are rubbed. The top edge loss and rubs have just affected the author name. The back cover has tiny chips to all four corners. The rear flap top edge has curled. the front flap is good. Not price cut. the rear of the jacket is clean and vg. Early 1st edition.
