The spine has cocked and the front cover warped. The gilt lettering to the front cover and spine is bright and bold. All of the corners are slightly rubbed. The top and bottom of the spine is curled, with a rub to the bottom rear board hinge. There is an inscription to the front end paper with some brown marks.  The text block is a little grubby but the internal pages are clean and bright.
Dust wrapper/The front flap hinge has chips to the top and bottom with a 2.5cm closed tear to the top. There are three horizontal closed tears one is 3cm. The top of the spine has 1/2cm loss with a 1cmx 1cm loss to the left and a 1cm x 0.5cm loss to the right hand side. The bottom of the spine has loss measuring 3cm x 3.5cm. The rear cover top edge has a 0.5cm closed tear. The top and bottom of the rear flap hinge has small chips. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket is clean.
