First edition first printing. FILE COPY. This book is an important post war file copy and has biro correction marks throughout.The front cover, spine and back cover are bright and clean. Mark along the title on the spine. File copy stamp to front end paper and "6666"written in blue pencil. Internal pages clean and bright. “The First post  War Biggles Story” to the title page has been crossed through in pencil by the publishers , but was never removed in any editions  far as I can tell. The binding is tight and no foxing. The rear end paper has the date stamped in blue ink 6 Jan 1949. Some paper has been torn from the rear inside board.Dust wrapper/ Clean and bright. The front cover has a crease running from top to bottom. Another crease to the back cover running from top too bottom. The front flap has some loss to the edge. Not price cut. 1383
