The front cover is generally clean with a few faint marks to the top right hand corner. The outside corners are bumped. The spine is slightly cocked but the colours are bold and bright. The top edge is slightly rubbed. The back cover is flat and the colours bold and bright. The inside board and end paper pictorial pieces are bright and clean. A name has been scratched in on the "This book belongs to "box. The internal pages are all clean and the pictures bright and bold.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover is clean, bright and bold with no tears or creases. There are faint fox marks showing along the outside flap edge. The spine is clean and bright with minor rubs to the top and bottom. The back cover is bright and clean. There is  1 and 1/2 cm closed tear to the top spine edge. Otherwise no defect. The front and rear flaps are without defect. No price cut. The rear has slight foxing./1267
