No Rest for Biggles W E Johns

The boards and spine are clean but the spine is sunned and cocked. The front board bottom right hand corner is slightly bumped. The titles and pictorial illustrations are bright and bold. The text block is foxed but this has not spread to the internal pages, which are clean and bright. The colour frontis and plates are all bright and bold. No inscription.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover has an 11.5 cm crease. The bottom edge is rubbed with a 2cm closed tear at the top.The top edge has a 1cm and a 1/2 cm closed tear. The front flap hinge is rubbed, with a 3cm closed split. The top and bottom edges of the spine are rubbed. The top edge has minor edge loss. The back cover bottom edge has a water stain this is on the spine, front flap and front cover bottom edges too. The back cover is a little grubby. Not price cut.The rear of the jacket has the water stain showing with some browning. Repairs to bottom edge and top back cover to rear/ JR 1964
