For Valour Covington Clarke

Very Scarce, original W EJohns wrapper. Colour dfrontis and four black and white plates all by W E Johns.
The front boards are straight and the gilt lettering on the front board and spine are bold and clear. The spine is straight and un rubbed. There is foxing to the text block and this has spread to the first few pages. The rest of the internal pages are clean and bright. the binding is tight.Probably unread,all plates are intact. 
Dust wrapper/ Professionally repaired to the top and bottom edges of the spine and front cover,see photo. Very difficult to see the repair and name the faults. Otherwise no tears. Tiny chip and rub to back cover bottom left hand corner. Not price cut./1710
