Five on a Treasure Island Enid Blyton

Book good to very good. The boards and spine are all straight. The front board right hand top and bottom edges are bumped slightly. There are bumps to the bottom edge. The gilt lettering on the front board and spine is bold and clear. The rear board has some marks in white and red. the front end paper has a small inscription. The text block is foxed and this has spread to the margins of the first few pages and to some later pages. The binding is tight.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover has a triangle surface loss above the author. The right hand top and bottom corners have minor loss The top and bottom edges are rubbed and the top edge has a crease running along the entire edge. The front flap hinge is rubbed with a 6cm split in the middle. The top and bottom of the spine has some loss not affecting the title or author. The back cover top and bottom left hand corners are rubbed with minor loss. The top edge of the rear flap is curled with tiny chips. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket has some red marks and there is minor staining to the bottom edge./1735
