Biggles Takes Charge W E Johns

The Boards and spine are bright and un bumped with no rubs. the spine is cocked. The text block is foxed but this has not spread to the internal pages which are all clean and bright.The front end paper has been torn out and stuck down to repair a tear to the frontis hinge. No inscription
Dust wrapper/ All four corners of the front cover have small chips, with the top left hand corner also having a 1/2cm closed tear. The top edge has a crease. The bottom edge has rubs and a small nick.The top of the spine is rubbed, with minor edge loss. The bottom edge is rubbed, with a 1cm tear to the rear cover hinge. The rear cover bottom edge is rubbed with creases. There are chips to the top and bottom left hand corners. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket is slightly browned./1963
