First edition 5th impression.The  front board is straight. There are some marks to the top right hand corner. The spine is straight, as is the rear board.The internal pages are all clean and bright with no inscriptions. There is some minor foxing to the text block but this has not spread internally.Dust wrapper/ There are rubs to the front flap hinge and to the top and bottom of the spine. The publisher is affected to the bottom. The back cover is a little grubby. Publishers price cut and reprice to front flap. The rear of the jacket has some marks on the spine and front cover, not showing through./1954
