The top edge of the front and rear boards and spine are slightly faded.
, the bottom edges are slightly rubbed . The bottom right hand corner of the front board and the bottom left hand corner of the rear board  are bumped. The front end paper has a small neat inscription. The text block is foxed but this has not spread to the internal pages which are clean and bright. The binding is tight.
 
Dust wrapper/The top and bottom of the front flap hinge have tiny chips. The top of the spine has edge loss, rubs and creases. The bottom edge has a small nick, the spine is a little grubby and the reverse of the front flap hinge is foxed , slightly showing through. The top of the rear panel has three tiny closed tears. Price cut. The rear of the jacket has some browning to the front flap hinge.
