Biggles in The Baltic W E Johns SOLD

The front boards and spine are clean and bright. The spine is cocked. There is a small mark to the rear board and a publishers crease. The pictorial illustration and title are bright and bold. The front end paper has a small inscription. There is minor foxing to the text block this has not spread to the internal pages which are clean and bright.
Dust wrapper/ White spine variant  wrapper, illustration as first. The top and bottom edges of the front cover have tiny closed tears with rubs and creases. The bottom edge has a 6cm closed tear which has been taped to the rear. The top of the front flap hinge has a chip with a 1cm tear and the bottom edge has three tiny chips. The hinge is rubbed. The spine hinge bottom edge has a 2cm closed tear that has been taped to the rear. The top of the hinge has a 1/2 cm closed tear.. The top and bottom of the spine have edge loss and tiny closed tears. The bottom edge has 1cm x 2cm loss. The back cover spine hinge has a 1cm hole. The back cover  top edge has three closed tears. One measures 3cm, another 1cm and the last 3/4 cm. There is also a 2cm closed tear to the top of the rear flap and a 1cm tear to the bottom. The back cover is a little grubby. The top edges of the front and rear flaps are curled and browned with tiny closed tears. The rear of the jacket is reasonably clean. Not price cut.
