Thin reprint edition.The green boards are bright, clean and straight.  All of the corners front and rear have very minor rubs. The lettering on the spine is bold and clear with a slight browning to the 2.5cm s of the bottom of the spine. Internally the pages are bright and clean, including the colour frontis. No inscription or foxing. 
Dust wrapper/ Full thickness wrapper. As this wrapper has been put onto a thin edition, there are creases running down the spine and rear flap. The front cover has a 3.5cm closed tear to the bottom edge. There are rubs to the top and bottom edges. There is a 1/2 cm chip to the bottom right hand corner and a tiny chip to the top right hand corner. The spine top edge has minor loss and edge rubs. There is a 3cm closed tear running down the frontcover hinge and onto the front cover. There is another closed tear measuring 4cm running from the top of the B in Biggles down. There are four small holes, two in the author and the other two nearer the bottom of the spine. There is loss to the bottom of the spine 3cm x 4cm, loosing the publisher except the O. The rear cover has a 1cm tear to the top rear flap hinge. Thwere are creases to the top edge. There is a chip to the bottom of the hinge.  The top edge has a 1cm closed tear and the bottom edge has a 1.5cm closed tear. The top edges of the front and rear flaps are curled. The rear flap has a 1/2 cm closed tear. The front flap top edge has edge rubs. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket is clean. A replica wrapper has been placed behind to improve the appearance on the shelf.
