Biggles Defies the Swastika. W.E.Johns

First Australian edition presumed 1946 First,blue boards scarce wrapper.
Small bumps/rubs to corners and top/bottom of spine otherwise cleran and VG. There is a pen indentation/mark below the title and on the spine,I assume this is a fault ? Internally the pages are clean and bright. There is a crease to the top corner of pages 45-48.Pages are browned due to paper quality. The binding is very tight.
Dust wrapper/ The top of the spine is rubbed with tiny closed tear,minor nick. The bottom of the spine is very good.The top right hand corner of the front cover has a small chip with piece still attached. The spine has a 2cm closed tear 6 cm from the bottom. The bottom right hand corner is chipped. the top edge of the front flap is curled. The entire jacket front and back is clean and bright. Not price cut.FINE example of early wrapper.
