First printing book club edition.
The front board is straight, flat and without blemish. Clean and bright. The spine is straight and the lettering bold and clear. The bottom edge has a minor rub. The back board is also clean and bright. The front inside board is without defect. The front end paper is clean and bright but a pencil mark has been erased causing creases to the top right hand corner. The pages are all fine and the text block has no foxing. The binding is tight. The rear end paper and inside board are without defect.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover is very good with only minor chips to all four corners. The spine has minor rubs to the top and bottom but is otherwise good. The back cover has minor creasing to the top and brown marks to the top right, hand corner. The inside flaps are good but both have creasing to the top. Not price cut. The rear of the dust wrapper is without blemish. A fine example of this edition. /1299
