Biggles Air Commodore

Medium thick brown reprint with full thickness later wrapper. Last book on rear list "Biggles Goes to War"The front and rear board have some grubby marks to the top edges but are otherwise clean. The spine top edge is sunned and this corresponds with the chip to the top of the dust wrapper. The internal pages are clean and bright. The front end paper has a 1/2 cm closed tear. The text block has a few fox marks. The binding is tight.Dust wrapper/ The front cover has a 1cm closed tear to the middle of the bottom edge. The top and bottom right hand corners are chipped. The top edge  has two 1/2 cm closed tears. The spine top edge has loss 2cm deep half way across with a 3cm closed tear attached. The piece above the closed tear is creased and rubbed. This fault affects the Biggles in the title. The bottom edge has loss 1cm deep running across, not affecting the Oxford. The back cover has a 1cmx 3cm chip to the top left hand side. There is a 1 and 1/2 cm closed tear in the middle. The back flap hinge has an open tear 1cm down running 12cm. The bottom has some loss1cm x2cm to the left hand corner and a 1cm closed tear.The front and rear flaps top edges have curled and the rear flap top edge is browned slightly. Not price cut.
