First edition first printing. Wartiime.The front cover is bright and clean, slight rubs with more noticeable rubs to the top left hand corner and bottom left corner. The corners are straight and the lettering bold and clear.The spine is straight and the lettering clear and bold. Very slight rubs to the top and bottom edges. The back cover is clean and bright, slightly rubbed. The corners are not bumped. The front inside board and end paper are clean with no inscription. The frontis is very good, bright and clean. All of the internal pages are clean and bright with no fault. The rear end paper and inside board are clean except for a brown mark on the bottom 2cm. Dust wrapper/ The front cover is bright and clean. There are chips to the top and bottom right hand corners and 1.5 cm closed tears to the left hand corners. The spine is complete but there is a crease running from "Captain" to the bottom. Slightly rubbed to the bottom. The back cover ha a crease to the top edge with a closed tear 1cm to the left side. mall chip to the left top corner.The front and back flaps are very good. Not price cut./1345
