First edition second Impression.
The boards and spine are bright, clean and straight.The text bock is a little browned and  has a snag/catch which has meant the extreme corners of about 30 pages edges are creased, see photo. The lettering and pictorial illustration are bold and clear. There is a neat inscription to the front end paper. Internally the book is clean and the binding tight.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover has faint rubs to the front panel above the author.There some  stains to the rear of the wrapper, not showing through to the front. see photo.The back spine hinge and flap folds are a little  rubbed and a little to edges otherwise complete bright ,unfaded and VG near FINE.Publishers price cut and reprice. -1748
