1947, Hodder&Stoughton 1st. The first and only book featuring Biggles, Worrals and Gimlet. Superb colour frontispiece for sale in artwork section of our website. Tight clean and generally vg, neat longish inscription to front end paper, light crease to title page. Minor fox to closed page edges. Slight fades top/bottom of spine, slight crease to centre of spine, small bumps to two corners.
Dust wrapper price cut to inside front flap, Slight creases/rubs to top/bottom of spine and front. Two inch by one inch piece missing to bottom front. Minor nicks to two corners. Slight fox to inside spine of dust wrapper, otherwise complete and vg. A difficult title in dust wrapper.
